Publication design: SXSW Pitch Report 

Objective:

Leverage SXSW’s contemporary brand to tell a compelling story through data and editorial commentary. While PitchBook data tends to be more agnostic and thorough (ie. many dense charts on one page), for the different audience of SXSW, it was important to make data digestible with clear hierarchy of information. While primarily a digital piece, I leveraged print layout and practices to make an editorial-forward and printable piece.

The brief:

In partnership with the SXSW Pitch (formerly known as SXSW Accelerator), create a data-driven editorial report that showcases the success of the SXSW Accelerator program over time, increases quality and quantity of Accelerator applicants, and exposes PitchBook’s data and analysis capabilities to a wider audience.
